Listening Ear is an active and vibrant organisation, with excellent facilities and this comes at a cost.
Applications are made to companies, organisations and grant making trusts for financial support and many have been extremely generous, with grants ranging from £100 to £15,000. All donations, whatever the size, are very much appreciated and put to good use. Service users will often show their appreciation and forward funds on to the Treasurer, which we obviously treat as a positive service level indicator.
We are also very grateful for regular donations from individuals as well as from organisations, and Gift Aid has allowed us to claim back the tax paid on the money.
