Established in 1990, Listening Ear developed from a group of committed volunteers at St Nicholas Church Halewood. They kindly offered bereavement support for members of their local community. Listening Ear now employs 15 paid members of staff and is supported by 23 loyal volunteers as well as a voluntary Executive Committee.
Listening Ear is a Company Limited by Guarantee (No. 5999650), is registered with the Charity Commission (No. 1117324) and is a Social Enterprise. Listening Ear is a member of the emerging Third Sector Consortia and Richard Brown, General Manager at Listening Ear, is Acting Chair of the Social Enterprise Network.
